Jason Smith is an ISSA (International Sports Science Association) certified Personal Trainer who currently works in the German school system helping youth to become the best version of themselves through hip-hop and fitness. Jason chose this career path because of his troubled past. Having been a former drug dealer, involved in gang violence and spending time in jail, Jason has a passion to help young people break free from their past and experience the greatness that already lives inside of them. Jason knows the power of music and uses rap and breakdance in a positive way to reach the youth.  

His faith in God, and fitness have been the foundation of his ability to stay free of his past for the last 18 years. Working out helped him build a strong body along with a strong mindset.

Jason has also spent 3 years traveling the globe with Team Xtreme international where he rapped along with doing feats of strength. Team Xtreme is a faith based strong man team that goes into schools performing crazy feats of strength like breaking brick, bending bars, running through 2x4’s to illustrate the power of change. He has led outreaches and spoken on issues like bullying, respect, and any other issue a particular school might have had at that time.  In 2015 before his commitment with Team Xtreme was finished, he studied to become a personal trainer and shortly after getting certified he start Jlegacy Fitness.

On top of being a certified Personal Trainer he is also a Sports Nutrition Specialist, Exercise Recovery Specialist, Transformation Specialist and is current studying for his Strength & Conditioning certification. Jason is also bilingual speaking both English and German.

He learned German after meeting his wife Jennifer and moving to Germany where is wife is from. Jason has continued to rap and speak in schools in Germany where he and his wife, who is a schoolteacher do hip-hop projects with students. They been married for 7 years and have 2 sons Jaden and Tyson and will have boy number 3 this summer. Family is extremely important to Jason because he see how vital a role an active father plays in the family unit. Building a healthy family is a responsibility that Jason and is wife Jennifer don’t take lightly.
